Robert L. (Bob) Douglas, born in St. Kitts, West Indies but a New York resident for over 70 years, organized and coached the Harlem Renaissance Basketball team for 50 years. His teams won 2,138 games and lost 381. He was the first black  man in the Basketball Hall of Fame. He was 92 on November 4.
