ANN STEWART HAYWARD
Associate Producer - ABC Documentaries

Before coming to ABC, Ann Hayward had a career in computer programming and health care administration for 7 years. In 1973 she came to ABC as Director of Research and went on to become a staff Associate Producer to the documentary series, "ABC Closeup," and Producer to the public affairs series, "Americans All." Many of Ms. Hayward's shows have won awards which include the prestigious Clarion Award and the New York State Broadcasters' Association Award for the year 1976. She is a graduate of Simmons College and has done Doctorial study in Public Administration at New York University.

CLIFF LOVE

Cliff Love has been Editorial/Community Affairs Director for WABC MUSICRADIO since December of '73. Previously, he was Director of Community Relations for WABC for two years. His responsibilities include the examination and interpretation of community needs and interests and their adaptation to radio programming. In simpler terms, he is responsible for developing editorial, public service campaigns and special community projects.

Before joining WABC, he had served as an Employment Specialist at WRC-TV AM/FM, an NBC owned station in Washington, D.C. and as Public Service Director at WRC-AM/FM. He is active in the International Radio and TV Society, The New York Public Service Broadcast Council, The National Broadcast Editorial Association, and various other community organizations.

Currently he is an adjunct professor at St. John's University where he teaches a communications course entitled "The Responsibility Of A Broadcast Facility To Its Coverage Area." He graduated from Howard University with a B.A. degree in Business Administration and is a native of New Rochelle, New York. He now resides in Manhattan.

NATHAN McBEAN
Manager of Administration—ABC News, Washington, D.C.

Nathan McBean is Manager of Administration of ABC News in Washington, D.C. His responsibilities include all financial activities connected with the Washington News Bureau which is ABC's largest bureau. This encompasses the accounting procedures, payroll, production expenses and personnel processing. Mr. McBean joined the Accounting Department at ABC in 1972 and has worked as controller in the Special Events, Documentaries and the Evening News Departments.

ESPERANZA MARTINEZ
Associate Director—WABC-TV, New York

In 1969, Esperanza Martinez joined ABC as a Production Secretary to the Public Affairs program, "Like It Is." In that capacity she had general secretarial duties along with tying together the production elements in the show. Later, she advanced to Production Assistant and Assistant Producer to the same show. In 1972 she became an Associate Director to WABC-TV. Her duties include operating computerized break studio, video tape editing, promotional material, program timings and taped and live shows. Ms. Martinez is a graduate of Howard High School in Georgetown, South Carolina. She received advanced television training at the WNET Film Workshop and the RCA Television School.
