[[caption]]A joyous musical celebration entitled "Your Arms Too Short To Box With God" opened on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45th St., on December 22nd. Previews began on December 17th. Produced by Frankie Hewitt, the show is conceived from the Book of Matthew by Vinette Carroll, who also directed the production, and the music and lyrics are by Alex Bradford, with additional music and lyrics by Micki Grant.

"Your Arms Too Short To Box With God" was originally developed by the Urban Arts Corps for the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy, and received unanimous international acclaim from critics and oudiences alike when it was performed there during the summer of 1975.

"Your Arms Too Short To Box With God" is Vinette Carroll's first Broadway show since the tremendous success of her production, "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope." Miss Carroll is Artistic Director of the Urban Arts Corp and among the productions she has directed are "But Never Jam Today," "Bury The Dead," "Croesus and the Witch," "The Flies" and "The Ups and Downs of Theopolis Maitland."[[/caption]]
