OUR BREAD IS BUTTERED ON BOTH SIDES.

General Foods has recognized the importance of black consumers as a distinct market for a long time. And along with that recognition came positive policies for developing the black consumer market along with the general market. To do this, General Foods makes an extra effort to get its message to the black consumer. Placing advertising in major black newspapers and magazines across the country. And not just to sell products. But to give black consumers information about GF-sponsored economic development programs as well as important nutritional information. There's a reason for out continuing effort to be in touch with black consumers. Because increased purchasing ability and improved standards of living have made the black consumer too important to be ignored. And that's clout.
