The Young People and Young Adult Department of the Eastern Region held their annual Spiritual Retreat on Saturday, November 13, 1976, at the Statler Hilton Hotel in New York City.  The theme for the Retreat was "Family Reunion - A Christian Experience." The panelist, Mr. Isaac Nelson, Virginia, and Mr. Palmer Davis, New York, opened the discussion on "God Never Fails," and "What is a Christian," respectively.

Mr. Nelson, in his presentation, gave examples of God never failing beginning in biblical times leading up to our present time, leaving with us that if you just ask God and wait patiently on him, he will never fail you.

Mr. Palmer said a Christian is a loving, patient, understanding, and concerned individual, but most of all, he must know God for himself.

The Retreat culminated in a beautiful presentation by Rev. Johnny Youngblood, Pastor, St. Paul Community Baptist Church, Brooklyn, New York, who is also the Spiritual Advisor for the New York State Young Adult Department. Rev.
