Mrs. Whitfield has been actively engaged in the promotion, direction and coordination of Fashion Shows for approximately eighteen years. Considered on of the best producers of Fashion Shows in the New York City area, Mrs. Whitfield has presented her shows at the top hotels and restaurants in the Greater Metropolitan region and has access to original designs of the best Seventh Avenue Talent. She has worked with and/ or on behalf of a number of charitable organizations in raising funds for their organization. 

Officially certified by the State of New York to conduct Charm and Modeling techniques, Mrs. Whitfield established the Hazel Kilpartick Charm and Modeling School, Jamaica, New York, in 1970. In 1974, she moved her operation to Manhattan and is currently operating from the Church of the Master, 86 Morningside Avenue, New York City.

On January 10, 1977, Mrs. Whitfield and her husband, Al, opened a Fashion Two Twenty Cosmetics franchise at 208 West 79th Street, New York City. Their operation, the first in Manhattan, markets their products through the "house party" concept. They carry a full line of cosmetics ranging from a skin care program to perfumes.
