Bever-leigh Banfield, daughter of Leo and Theresa Banfield of Oaks Bluff, Mass. and the Bronx, New York, is the current understudy for "the lady in yellow, the lady in orange, lady in brown and the lady in green" in Joseph Papp's presentation of "Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf."

A graduate of Yale School of the Drama and Stanford University's Drama and Communications School, Miss Banfield has appeared in "King Lear;" "The Duchess of Malfi;" "The Alchemist;" "Tambourine;" "To Glory and The Maids."
