Bottle & Cork Club Salutes Roy Wilkins

The Bottle and Cork Sales Club of New York was organized in 1937, by a pioneer group of liquor sales persons who toured the streets of Harlem.

The club now in its 41st year of existence has enlarged its membership to include sales persons from all fields of business endeavors; and with this growth the members of the club have maintained a positive image of doing community work among the less fortunate in the ghettos of this city.

The pictures taken on these four pages represent the club's salute to Roy Wilkins, the retiring Executive Secretary of the N.A.A.C.P.

The salute was co-chaired by Mr. Edgar Bronfman of Seagram's Distillers, dynasty and was supported by the members of the liquor fraternity.
