NUAC expects its greatest conveference ever as more than 300 corporate executives and guests concerned with corporate and government EEO, minority and urban affairs and personnel related functions will gather at the Dallas Hilton Hotel for the 8th Annual Conference of this organization.  Melvin C. Hopson, EEO Programs Director of Montgomery Ward and Co., Inc., headquartered in Chicago, is the National Chairman of NUAC.  The National Urban Affairs Council has some 200 members in business, industry and government in some 15 local and regional chapters nationwide.  NUAC has defined its task to advance and promote responsible corporate and government participation in policies and programs designed to resolve Urban problems.  Visiting professors at black colleges, the Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) of the National Urban League Speakers Bureau, and a membership job bank for both members and organizations nationwide are a few of NUAC's current activities.
