ALPHA'S ARE LIKE HENRY BROWN

In Cleveland - May 1977, Henry was awarded the National Association of Market Developer's coveted "Marketeer of the Year" award during their national convention. This organization is comprised of professional men and women who engage in marketing goods and services nationally.

Henry presently serves on the national board of directors for NAMD, Washington Ad-Hoc Board on National Urban Affairs, St. Louis Urban League Board, and as Imperial Ambassador for the Prince Hall Shriners.

An Alpha, Henry is an advocate of segmented management developments, which are structured on fundamental concepts. He believes in those basic principles in the realm of organization, communication, motivation, and proper planning which have established their merit in industry.

In 1974, Henry was awarded the Anheuser-Busch "Adolphus" for Significant Achievement. This prestigious award is annually presented in regional field sales operations — symbolizes leadership standards in the highly competitive beer industry.

Henry states that he is proud to be a part of such a fine competitive organization as Anheuser-Busch, Inc. "Anheuser-Busch has always and will continue to fulfill its civic obligation to support and assist in the development of a more stable economic community. In this regard, it is company policy to encourage the establishment and growth of minority businesses through the purchases of goods and services."

The event is the 1977 Alpha Phi Alpha National Convention.  Mr. M. Cabell Woodward, Jr., President of ITT Continental Baking Company is the recipient of Alpha Phi Alpha's Industry Award for outstanding achievement in equal opportunity and affirmative action.

PATRICIA STEWARD
Patricia Steward is a Competitive Sales Analyst in the Marketing Statistical Department of Anheuser-Busch, Inc. on the General Manager's staff.

Her responsibilities are to utilize competitive sales data supplied from the United States Brewers Association from the 37 participating states.

This raw data is computerized and developed in an analytical report form and then distributed to all sensitive marketing personnel for review.
