THIRTY-FOURTH GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER WEEK PLANNED WITH REV. MARTIN LUTHER KING SR. AS MAIN SPEAKER. National Achievement Clubs, headed by its president Mrs. Artegious Noncrieff, held a planning meeting in Pittsburgh recently and named Rev. King as the speaker at its luncheon, Jan. 6, at the William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa. The meeting was attended by representatives of similar Carver Week events in Philadelphia and Atlanta.
