ANNOUNCING THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK SOCIAL WORKERS

11th ANNUAL CONFERENCE
April 17 — 21, 1979
STOUFFER'S RIVERFRONT TOWERS
St. Louis, Missouri

"OUR SECOND DECADE: CONTINUED STRUGGLE FOR LIBERATION”

The struggle continues...sihouettes of past promises still haunt and engulf. For NABSW members and all Black human service workers, the struggle must include creative productivity in a variety of arenas. We must fight cutbacks in services, resist the rising tide of conservatism and repression, and assist in the development of coping and liberation strategies. We must cement linkages with our brothers and sisters in Africa and the Caribbean. It is the purpose and goal of this conference to analyze content and mobilize action in pivotal subject areas.

Dynamic workshops and research papers will focus on the following areas. Our final pre-conference brochure will list workshops to allow preregistration for specific presentations.
