SUPREME COUNCIL MEETING
Ontario, Canada – Sat. & Sun. May 12-13, 1979

ILL. RUSSELL S. GIDEON, 33°
Sovereign Grand Commander

CARL L. WILSON, 33°
Secretary General of Holy Empire

SOVEREIGN GRAND COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

An assessment of our annual Supreme Council Meeting held in Chicago on May 14, 15 and 16, indicated we have passed another milestone in the history of the A.A.S.R.–Prince Hall Affiliation Northern Jurisdiction. The program presented was met with approval and again, we begin to move forward. The new administration has shown its dedication and the input by the team was satisfactory, especially in the area of the Class of 1978.

By changing the schedule of events, we were able to eliminate the customary bottlenecks and effectively take care of the business of the Rite. Added interest was evidenced in the setting up of an informative seminar for the membership and further developments will be made to encourage participation of the Fraters. The Active Members are to be congratulated upon their concerns of our affairs.

As usual, the Memorial Services and Monday Night Banquet were carried out successfully. The experience gained in those activities will be most beneficial for the future.

1979 will find us in Toronto, Canada, and 1980, in Philadelphia for the Triennium. The wonderful increase in attendance mandates we complete arrangements well in advance, and the activating of a Convention Committee appears to be imminent.
