The ideals of LKM Kopelles are synonymous with the ideals of the sponsors, Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc. These ideals have been formed into four principles: SISTERHOOD, ACHIEVEMENT, SERVICE, and SCHOLARSHIP. Kopelles strive for excellence in scholarship, achievement, and service.

Since 1962 Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority has organized and sponsored groups of young girls from various regions of the United States.
