An airline is only as good as its people. So if we want you to fly Eastern, our employees have to provide you with the quality service you expect. But when Eastern employees do a little more than you expect, you aren't the only one to appreciate it. We appreciate it, too. And we encourage those employees by giving them new opportunities to grow with us.

A good example is Clem Childs. Just nine years ago, Clem began his career at Eastern as a ramp serviceman. Today, he's Manager of Passenger Sales for Detroit. 

Last year, his sales district accounted for more than $38 million in revenue from almost a quarter of a million passengers.

But we're not surprised. Because Clem is one of the people who make Eastern different. Ever since he started with us, he's been giving that little extra that makes Eastern a better airline. Which is why we're committed to Clem Childs and people like him. Because they're the people who make Eastern Airlines fly.
