Chesebrough-Pond's Inc. continues to be cognizant of its responsibility to be consistently and actively engaged in programs that are designed to uplift the quality of life and offer social improvements.

As an organization, we are especially supportive of those activities which emphasize educational opportunities, particularly for the underprivileged.

Much of Chesebrough-Pond's direction in minority programs is concentrated in the development of professional skills in our nations's youth.

The company also believes that the good neighborhood policy of corporations and the communities in which they have facilities is an essential ingredient to mutual progress and to living and working together.

Chesebrough-Pond's commitment as good neighbors is highlighted by the broad based support received in locations such as: Jefferson City, Mo.; Fairfield County and the surrounding Connecticut communities; Atlanta, Ga.; Huntsville, Ala.; Los Angeles, Cal.; and elsewhere.
Additionally, we are aware of the significant role of the nation's Black press and to this end, in 1979 the company initiated a regional advertising program with Black newspapers and magazines.
