Greetings,

In this the Year of the Child, we stand at the doorway to the 80's. We, the members of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, have the opportunity to make a real contribution to a better world for children in the 80's and thereafter through our programs for the coming year.

The Auxiliary is:

to create a greater interest in the National Medical Association

to aid and encourage the medical profession in its efforts to educate and serve the public in matters of sanitation and health

to develop and promote a National Auxiliary Program on HEALTH and EDUCATION, with sub-categories of Human Resources, Legislation, and Community Needs.
