Media Women's Convention Here

The 14th Annual Convention of the National Association of Media Women, Inc. convened at the Sheraton Centre Hotel last week.

The four day convention drew presidents and delegates from across the country to attend the activity-packed program under the theme "Communications: Countdown for Black Americans."

The convention was hosted by three New York Chapters, the Metropolitan New York Chapter was the official host chapter with Brooklyn-Richmond and Long Island chapters as co-hosts.

The first board Meeting convened Wednesday evening followed by a reception by Miller Brewing Coimpany who made sure there was a continental breakfast each morning and furnished anything you wanted to have for cocktails in the president's suite each evening. It became known as the "hospitality suite."

Thursday was the beginning of "Countdown" for the conventioners and guests who gathered to get down to business. Following the business meeting, chaired by the National president, Mrs. Xernona Clayton Brady, of Atlanta. The first Development Seminar was held.

Coimpany is probably a typo.
