MOLLIE MOON
PRESIDENT, NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE GUILD

Each year, I, along with all the other members of the National Urban League Guild, enjoy the privilege of welcoming patrons and guests to the Annual Beaux Arts Ball. This year our theme: "Life Begins at 40: The Best is Yet to Come," is an expression of our gratitude for the many years of support you have given us and our fervent hopes for the continuance of this fruitful alliance.

This loyalty of our hundreds of friends of all races and faiths, helps bring the concept of equal opportunity ever closer to reality. Such support enables the Guild to continue its assistance to its parent body, the National Urban League, in carrying out its mandate of securing equality of opportunity for blacks and other minorities in every area of our society.

We also want to thank the many companies and labor unions who affirm their support of the Urban League's goals through their advertisements in this journal as well as the members of the news media who generously publicize this most important event.
