CHARLES E. WRIGHT PROMOTED to MANAGER MARKET DEVELOPMENT at EASTERN AIRLINES

Eastern Airlines has announced the promotion of Charles E. Wright to manager, market development. He formerly was a sales representative for Eastern in Baltimore.

Mr. Wright's responsibilities will include directing and recommending policies and marketing plans to promote Eastern in special markets and among ethnic and special interest groups.

Mr. Wright joined Eastern in April, 1969 as a ticket agent in Washington, D.C. He was promoted to sales representative in February, 1976.

Born March 1, 1946, Mr. Wright, attended Howard University in his hometown of Washington, D.C.; from 1964 to 1969, matriculating in the social sciences. He served as a staff sergeant in the District of Columbia's Army National Guard from 1970 to 1976.

He is a member of Prince Hall Masonry and a former member of Big Brothers, Inc. and has served on the advisory board of the Baltimore chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.

Mr. Wright is married to the former Barbara Howard, of Washington, D.C. The couple resides in Miami.
