 The 29th annual workshop/conference for the National Association of Market Developers will be held in Houston, TX, May 16-19, 1982, at the Houston Marriott Hotel - Brook Hollow. 
  The featured speaker for the conference will be noted journalist and historian Lerone Bennett, senior editor of Ebony Magazine. Bennett is also the author of numerous books on Black history and life.
   Bennett's distinguished career as a journalist and commentator on Black life began with his work on the Atlanta Daily World newspaper as a reporter and editor. He left the newspaper to join Johnson Publishing Company in the early 1950s and worked as an associate editor for Jet Magazine then as associate and finally as senior editor for Ebony.
