Success can be measured in dollars and sense.

At North Street Capital, a subsidiary of General Foods, we've been bankrolling minority owned businesses for over 10 years. During that time we've made some investments in businesses that have ideas, talent, and a market. These businesses had everything they needed to grow except money.
Fortunately, they came to North Street Capital to meet their financial needs. Because of our ability to leverage dollars, the assets of our portfolio companies are worth approximately $50 million. Our investments have leveraged more than $45 million from other financial institutions.
In addition, the financings arranged by North Street Capital are projected to provide about 600 jobs, that will pay about $7 million a year in salaries and wages, plus another $500 thousand in individual income taxes.
The estimated $40 million in gross sales to be produced by these companies will generate payroll and corporate income taxes of nearly $1 million in 1981.
Now we're looking for more quality financings. If you have, or want to acquire, a business valued at around $1 million, write North Street Capital and tell us about yourself.
After all, when we invest venture capital, the most important consideration is the man or woman behind the business.
