BLACKS AND REAGANOMICS
Supplier economics and Reaganomics combined have sown havoc in all areas of social gains made since the "War on Poverty." The arts and sciences, education, employment, business development, fair housing, consumer protection regulators, social sciences, and urban and rural development have all faired poorly under Reagan's "New Federalism."

Declines in economic growth will have the greatest impact on Blacks and usher in higher levels of unemployment, less upward mobility, continuous cut-backs in social programs and drops in the standards of living.

That the Reagan administrations policies threaten the survival of the less affluent is an understatement and the wrath will be felt primarily by our people. Consequently, now is the time for black organizations to (1) recognize that we have a common enemy, (2) organize and (3) collaborate by pooling our skills and resources.
