ANB Selected By Kellogg Company

Atlantic National Bank was selected as the newest of 16 minority banks nationwide to participate in the Kellogg Company's National Deposit Program.

Kellogg's Treasurer John C. Melangton came to Norfolk to make the deposit. "We feel that the $100,000.00 deposit demonstrates the kind of tangible commitment Kellogg has made to minority banking," said Melangton. "And, we are impressed with Atlantic National's current level of performance and are very pleased to have them in our program."

Kellogg's established its minority banking program in the early 1970's. Current deposits total over $1.6 million, Melangton said.
