BLACK GOLD.

Rodric Crosswhite is one of America's great natural resources. He wants to be an engineer. And to get there, the 17 year-old is studying lots of math and science in high school in New Rochelle, New York, and hopes to study engineering at Boston U or Ohio State University.

Rodric's on his way to an exciting, challenging career.

You could be, too.

More scientists and engineers are needed to help us find the other kinds of "black gold" in the 80's. Like increasing nuclear power, coal production and industrial productivity to keep us competitive with foreign countries and to keep our population employed.

More minorities should be a part of this effort.

If you, or a young person you know, enjoy science, math, physics or drafting, and want a career with a high starting salary and long-term stability, engineering is the one.

Ask your school guidance counselor about careers in science and engineering.
