The Harlem Y's project "Salute to Black Achievers in Industry" provides a vehicle for recognizing outstanding achievement by minorities in business and industry. Their successes serve to motivate minority youth to achieve in their own right and the program generates funds to support various youth programs offered by the YMCA to young people in the Harlem community.
