Every year our guests ask for more Delegates. This year we happily respond with the Appreciation Award for one of OUR favorite Delegates, Mr. C. Melvin Patrick.

His aim is to be of service to people and all his life he has quietly carried out this goal.

For the past 16 years, Mel Patrick, as publisher of DELEGATE MAGAZINE, produced through Melpat Associates, his family owned public relations business, has promoted knowledge of nationally membered Black organizations through the pages of a pictorial magazine which highlights the aims, aspirations, hopes, and achievements of Black people.

For the past 16 years as President of the Pan Hellenic Council of New York, a grouping of chapters of Negro college fraternities and sororities; Mel Patrick produced, staged and coordinated an Annual Careers Day at Brandeis High School for indigent minority students.
