PURPOSE
By constitutional provision and by original intent the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa is a professional organization of women in the field of EDUCATION.

The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa was organized in 1923 to bring about a more intimate relationship and more effective cooperation among teachers, to foster a spirit of sisterhood, and to promote the highest ideals of the teaching profession. 

The symbol of this Sorority shall be the Greek letters for PHI DELTA KAPPA.

The official organ of the sorority is the "KRINON," a journal issued annually in December.
