[[image - emblem]] ATLANTA BALTIMORE BOSTON BROOKLYN CONNECTICUT DETROIT FLORIDA MANHATTAN NEW JERSEY NORFOLK NORTH CAROLINA PHILADELPHIA RICHMOND SAVANNAH WASHINGTON NATIONAL GUARDSMAN 50TH ANNIVERSARY LAS VEGAS, NEVADA MARCH 3-6, 1983 ITINERARY THURSDAY, MARCH 3 Upon arrival at the Las Vegas airport, we will be met and transferred to the DUNES HOTEL AND COUNTRY CLUB. A special desk has been arranged to assist us with hotel check-in, registration and distribution of name badges and sightseeing information. Those interested in participating in the Golf Tournament, Tennis Tournament, or specially selected sightseeing tours should confirm arrangements at this time. 5:30 - 6:30 PM WELCOME COCKTAIL PARTY HOSTED BY DUNES HOTEL This will be the first of many events for Guardsmen to renew old friendships. Premium liquors, beer and wine as well as assorted snacks and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Remainder of the evening free for casino games, lounge shows and individual activities. FRIDAY, MARCH 4 8:00 AM GOLF TOURNAMENT BEGINS Golfers will receive a special rate of $26.00 for 18 holes. This price includes half cart, club storage, club cleaning and green fees. Trophies will be awarded by the Travel Agency. 9:00 AM TENNIS TOURNAMENT BEGINS The use of tennis facilities is complimentary for our members. Trophies will be awarded by the Travel Agency. OPTIONAL TOURS Those not participating in the golf and tennis will certainly enjoy one of the sightseeing excursions listed. 7:00 PM GALA DINNER AND SHOW This evening the Dunes' Show Room belongs to the National Guardsmen. Included in tonight's festivities is a special dinner, two cocktails per person, and the Dunes' featured entertainment. Remainder of the evening free for casino games and activities of personal interest. SATURDAY, MARCH 5 8:00 AM GOLF TOURNAMENT RESUMES 9:00 AM TENNIS TOURNAMENT RESUMES 1:30 PM LUNCHEON-ENTERTAINMENT-ROAST This will be an opportunity for Guardsmen and guests to "Roast" one of its prominent members. Come prepared for a good time. A special luncheon is included. Beer, wine and cocktails will be available on a cash basis. 7:00 PM 50TH ANNIVERSARY BANQUET The premiere event has arrived! A prime rib dinner will be accompanied by liters of wine. (Cash bar is available for beer and cocktails.) Golf and tennis trophies will be awarded followed by music and dancing. SUNDAY, MARCH 6 10:00 AM FAREWELL BRUNCH Our last formal gathering before we head for home. A double breakfast buffet will be served with champagne punch available on a cash basis.
