Brother Richard Albert Billings was born in Macon, Georgia. He received an AB degree from Morris Brown College, and his MD from the Howard University School of Medicine. Dr. Billings achieved remarkable success as a physician in Atlanta, Georgia. Well-known as a participant in civic, social, religious affairs, Brother Billings founded and served as president of the Atlanta Tailoring School. He was awarded membership in the Distinguished Service Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., served as President of Lambda Sigma Chapter, and was elected 10th National President of the fraternity.

Brother Ras Oliver Johnson, husband, and father, was an outstanding educator at Morris Brown College and Atlanta University. He had served as the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., representative to the Pan-Hellenic Council. Brother Johnson is remembered for his outstanding service, for his career with the Department of State, and for his well-deserved membership in the Distinguished Service Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He was a president of Lambda Sigma Chapter, and was elected the 12th National President of the fraternity.

Brother George L. Hightower, a native of Laurens County, Georgia, was an alumnus of Morris Brown College. At Howard University, he earned an MD from the School of Medicine. Dr. Hightower served on the Board of Directors of the United Negro College Fund, and was a director of the Federal Mutual Bank. This distinguished physician was a president of Lambda Sigma Chapter, and a member of the Distinguished Service Chapter. Brother Hightower was elected 15th National President of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
