Is there a place in American business for someone like Harold M. Davis?

Harold M. Davis, M.D., leads a busy life.
During the day, he's our assistant medical director at ITT World Headquarters.
But nearly every night (and most weekends), Dr. Davis devotes his time to SEO - which stands for Sponsor for Educational Opportunity.
SEO is a 20-year-old volunteer organization in New York City that has helped some 2,000 inner city minority youths get a chance for a college education.
And not just any college education. To prepare for the future, SEO has launched a major effort to introduce minority students to the fields of business and science - especially the high technology end.
The young people SEO selects are students with drive, but little direction to reach their full potential.
SEO helps provide that incentive. The students are matched with sponsors - someone they can look up to, someone who can help guide them.
Someone like Harold Davis.
Harold Davis knows as well as anyone how far determination can take a person.
His childhood was spent in Harlem. He had to work - and work hard - to earn his place in business.
Recently, the Harlem Branch of the YMCA recognized Dr. Davis' accomplishments by naming him a Black Achiever.
We'd like to add, no one deserves it more.

The best ideas are the ideas that help people. ITT.
