Dare to Dream! Take Charge! Make Dreams Come True! 

This is our challenge as we enter a new administration-and our goal. 

In keeping with our involvement in the United Nations Mid-Decade of Women observance, we continue to focus programmatically on health, education and employment issues. Our health emphases have been and continue to be involvement of each club in working with the National Association for Sickle Cell Disease and the American Cancer Society in education and support projects. 

Our education emphases include financial support to the United Negro College Fund; recruiting students for the predominantly Black colleges and providing scholarship assistance, continuing education courses for members, literacy projects, and our Leontyne Price Vocal Artists Competition. 

Alarmed by the disturbingly high unemployment statistics of Black and the income differential of Blacks in relation to other ethnic groups, we have
