WAABI NEW YORK CHAPTER
IMPORTANT INDUSTRY/COMMUNITY RESOURCE

Founded in New York City in 1944 by twelve women employed in the beverage industry, the Women's Association of Allied Beverage Industries, Inc.(better known as WAABI) has grown to over thirty chapters nationwide, with more than 3,000 members.

WAABI lends its support to many charitable and community causes for the public good on both local and national levels. Sky Ranch for Boys in Sky Ranch, South Dakota, a charity founded by the beverage industry, is supported by all WAABI members. The women who belong to WAABI devote many volunteer hours annually to community activities and WAABI chapters make monetary contributions as well.
You can learn more about WAABI, support its work, and become a member of the New York chapter or the national association by contacting Miss Kay O'Sullivan. (212)689-1406.
