JEWELL JACKSON McCABE

  Jewell Jackson McCabe has distinguished herself as an important spokesperson and role model for the contemporary Black Woman. Ms. McCabe has been recognized by several national organizations, including the Women's Equity Action League (WEAL) which is the leading national women's legislative advocacy organization, and the National WYCA which saluted her for "outstanding service" on behalf of Woman in Business. She has become an advisor to leaders in the public and private sector related to minorities, women and New York City issues. 
  Ms. McCabe is President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, as well as Vice President of the Women's Forum. She serves on Boards of: National Urban Coalition, Overseas Education Fund, Lenox Hill Hospital, Community Council of Greater New York, New York Urban League, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Planned Parenthood of New York, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association for a Better New York. 
  Ms. McCabe was appointed Chairperson of the New York State Jobs Partnership Training Council by Mario Cumo
