GOLAR-RICHIE, WEDDING OF THE YEAR

One of the most impressive weddings and receptions this writer has attended in years took place last Sunday afternoon. The wedding was held at Rutgers Presbyterian Church on West 73rd Street in Manhattan. Rev. Dr. Charles L. Gray, the pastor officiated. Over three hundred & fifty family and friends, some flew in from across the country to see Charlotte Marie Golar, the daughter of former Judge & Mrs. Simeon Golar of Jamaica Estates and Winston Henry Richie Jr., the son of Dr. & Mrs. Winston Henry Richie exchange wedding vows. 

The bride was radiant in an ivory lace wedding gown that was designed and made especially for her tall slender body. The bridesmaids wore elegant dark burgundy 3/4 length gowns with beautiful three tiered ruffled tops that framed their lovely faces. They wore a single strand of pearls and pumps to match the gowns. Their short lacy ivory gloves matched the lone flower in their hair and the bouquet of flowers each carried so gracefully as they walked down the isle and ascended
