EYES BUSINESS HOME--DOROTHY

PITMAN-HUGHES, who operates the Harlem Copy Center on West 125th Street, won a $250,000 construction grant from the Ten Eight Foundation. The money is not given directly to the winner, but must go towards a building or home. Mrs. Hughes hopes to find a building where she can open a business and training center in the Harlem area. She opened her own copy center after she became frustrated because of the inability to find a full service copy center in Harlem, forcing her to run downtown "because Harlem just wasn't set up for that type of service."
