FOR A WORTHY CAUSE - Mrs. Verdell Roundtree, founder of the New Jersey campaign for the United Negro College Fund, left, accepts a $37,000 check from Althea B. Giles and her husband William R. Giles. The Giles own and operates EPC International of East Orange, New Jersey which is the largest Black-owned advertising specialty firm in the country. Every year, for the past three years, the Giles host an "Evening of Elegance" with proceeds going to UNCF. This year's affair was held at the Sheraton Heights Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights.
