I send Descriptive List for Austin and Turnbull. I am very much in need of mounted men. Cant get along without them. How will they be had? I hear they are to have Some at Grenada. If they get them I will ask for them there. I should have about Six mounted men to send into the country to make arrests carry letters and orders &c. All the complaints that have been made yet come from 12 to 20 or 30 miles and in Some instances the Negroes dare not take a letter to the man of whom they complain.
