In accordance with directions from the A. A. Com. of Nov. 7th I have made all possible inquiry in regard to fears of an insurrection and am satisfied there are no good reasons for fear in this county. I find very few of the citizens who have any fears and they are not able to give any reasons for their fears which seem to me sufficient. I feel quite confident that there is nothing known in this County of any attempt at organization of any kind among the colored people either for offence or defence and I am quite sure that nothing but the most utter
