"Ed's" Page

Was shot down on Sunday, Sept 1st 1918, by three Fokkers. The disgusting part is that just a few minutes before we went up on patrol I received a package of newspapers and magazines from home. Just had time to rip the covers off before we left the ground. Was attached to the 32nd R.A.F. Squadron, flying S.E. 5's- which is the best scout on the front, with the possible exception of the Newport 28-!!!!??. You can find me either at Oxford or Greensboro, N. Carolina. Come down anytime.
