Thursday, Jan. 24, 1918

Norton has his girl for 30 min. 

Had dinner in station at Chicago. Called up the McGuires and had chat with Francis and Agatha. Also heard Dr. Zenos' voice on the phone. 

When we get past Chicago Hill's girl comes on board and rides about thirty miles with us. 

Clapp loses his at Pringlewood

Friday, Jan. 25, 1918

Pass thru Wooster this morning. Breakfasted at Orville. Telephoned the Lower Inkie. Miriam at library. 

Lunch at Pittsburg -- Being Officer of the Day I had to march squadron around during stop. One man late about getting on. 

Dinner at Altoona. Picked up a couple of girls on way back to train. Said Hello Goodby. Two men late onto train. Put them under arrest. Major has them paraded before him. Lots of fun.
