Friday, Feb. 1, 1918

Nothing heard from pay vouchers.  Rumor hath it that we get out of quarantine to-morrow.  Oh! joy.  If only the men could get off too Mandolins of Moy & Ardiway and violin of "Bugs" Raymond are entertaining us muchly.

In the evening Major Grant Bugs et moi sing with much feeling after lights out (Taps) in men's barracks "Poney-boy"- and "Pride of the Prairie" especially the latter-not encored.

Saturday, Feb. 2,1918              

Quarantine[[strikethrough]]d[[/strikethrough]] lifted this afternoon.  I'll [[srikethrough]] am [[/strikethrough]] be getting used to getting in to New York.

Took dinner with Mrs. Bovaird to night.  She was wonderfully cordial to me  Insists that I stay with her.  Dr. B. is Major in charge of Hospital at Camp Dix, Wrightstown N.J.  Crary is at Andover and Cecily is at Vassar
