Got out to Hempstead rather early this morning. Found Hill Norton Martin & Elliot on guard to say nothing of Doctor Arnold. Went into New York and had dinner with Mrs. Bovaird. In the p.m. went down to Farmer's Loan & Trust Co. to see about starting an account with their Paris Branch. My pay voucher was not cashed for Jan so I could get nothing accomplished. Had a good look up and down Fifth Avenue. In Evening Mrs. Bovaird & I saw "Seventeen" by Booth Tarkington played.
