Meeting of the Clans. All 27th Officers are out here again - excepting Kennedy, of course - 

I found a letter from Mrs Darlington with a generous check $200 with which to buy equippment. It certainly was generous and will enable me to get flying stuff. In afternoon a box of Huyler's came from Mrs O'Neill. 

Enjoyed by officers.

Waiting expectanly for a sudden move

From the Major down we are fed up with waiting.

Friday, Feb. 22, 1918

Purchased a very good combination leather coat and gaberdine waterproof trench coat. Very satisfactory.

Attempt to sell my Dack boots as they never have fit worth a darn.

We sit around and wonder "Where do we go from here" and above all how soon.

Hope comes We are ordered to leave all baggage for hole ready by 10 A.M.

Most of our sleeping kits are otherwheres. Where and how are we going to sleep this nicht.
