124 Paris, Hotel Richmond Saturday, May 4, 1918 Cold bath which elicited much talk from MacA. We decide to visit the Quartier Latin and visit the Panthéon, some small shops where Artists displayed there works. At lunch we (strikethrough) Mac ordered shrimps by mistake. We passed the U.S. Labor Commission while they were on way to the Panthéon. Visited the Notre Dame and then back to Hotel. MacElvain MacA & I go to the Casino de Paris in the evening where we get a close up on Paris night life. Meet little Miss Jeanne our Italian dressmaker. We take her home in a buss on account of rain. 125 Paris Hotel Richmond Sunday, May 5, 1918 Up rather late cold bath. Gunn McElvain MacA & I visit the art display and enjoy the wonderful things there. Wander down the Champs Elysée. In the afternoon I went around to the Quai d'Orsay and move my baggage to the Garr d'Lést. Then go for a walk in the Jardin de Tuilleries also get some Maps on the Rue de Rivoli. MacA friend from Tour alias Buffalo gives him some practice on French Wines. MacA & I go and get his baggage arranged for tomorrow we're off for the front.
