At the age of twenty-one and the beginning of 1941 I have made but two resolutions, to keep a diary of all of my activities and to better my self in every way possible.

I went to the midnight show "Flight Command", and then to 11 O'Clock mass. After dinner I went down to Robert Jacobs "Jakie". I visited James Bower and his sister. In the evening I went to the K of C with Jake and Edward "Eddie" Bebble.

Arrived home and began this Diary, went to bed 12:30.
