I worked eight hours from 8 to 4:30 I walked to work with Ruth Wittman, a very, very nice girl. With the thought of leaving home ones friends seem so much more impressing. Mother and Daddy are going to have a fairwell party for me on Sat. After supper I visited the Draft Board and advised them that I was going to enlist. My new Camera the Ikoflex came but I did not use it yet. My new Albert tank came too. I met Clayton and we compared tanks and my old one has the best workmanship. I also saw Jake and Ed at Normans. I brought my Diary up to date and retired about 11:40.
