I woke up about 3:30 AM. We came to Fort Monroe and docked around 530 A.M We had to wait for the "Jitney" from Langley Field for about a half hour. After riding about six miles we came to the field, a very large and beautiful field. After breakfast we were interviewed and then measured for our uniforms. After lunch we received our uniforms and all the accessories for our bunks and toilet articles. All the men, who are going to Bangor Maine are sleeping in a large hanger until notice comes to move. The meals are very good. After Dinner I took a shower and dressed in my Army coveralls. Wrote a cord to the family. Went to bed 9 oclock.
