MEMORANDA

It sure was great to visit home again and see my parents and brothers and sisters. I didn't like to leave again but I have a job to do in the army and I going to do it at all costs. It has been very hard for me to be away from home but I know this enlistment in the Army will do me good because I want to get an education and then go back home to stay. A year or so ago I wanted to be a great man some day but I have changed my mind now that have left home. All I want now is to get a job I like back home and spend the rest of my life with the rest of the family and all my friends. I doubt if it will ever work out this way. O Jesus help me to keep my courage up and to be a man.
