I got up at six and after cleaning up I had breakfast. Today I worked as a hypo splosher. We are still working on those copies of the battle-ships. I got my radio yesterday but I'm to far from a wall plug to use it. About 1:15 Sarg Busch brought up my pass and said that I could leave right away but I'm wont to go tonight. After work I had a hair cut and then had supper. I took a shower and was ready to go at 700.P.M. Sarg. Busch took Prettyman and I down to old Point Comfort. The ferry was two and a half hours late so we got started about eleven o'clock. Boy! what a wait. Prettyman and I slept almost all the way up to Philadelphia.
I'm bringing this diary up to date on the way across the Chespeak Bay.
